Kolkata, the city of joy, is quite
more than a fairy destination for some people. It's a city of culture blended
with the sweetness of the intellectual skills of individuals. I think you
people might be wondering why I have used the word, "fairy
destination" while featuring the city, right? Then the best reason for
this would be the scenic and evergreen beauty of the city. The scenic looks of
the city make it almost an imaginary destination of a fairy tale. The unique
places that add to the beauty of the city, make it unique from all other places
in India. We all know that India is a country with cultural diversities. This
is very much evident in "the city of joy". It's the hive of activity
binding together the various people of various cultural diversities.

The “City of Joy” has many lucrative tour destinations which attract
thousands of people on a daily basis. There are uncountable lucrative places
which have given the city, the tagline of “fairytale destination”. Those are
the Vidyasagar Setu, Princep Ghat, Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, Eco
Park and many more. There are uncountable beautiful places situated in the remote
areas as well. There are various intellectual places for the kids which provide
them amusement along with intellectual knowledge. The most famous one is the
Science City. A visit to the Science City, shall not only add to the knowledge
of the kids but also the amusement factors. Recently, the Eco Park has been
developed as one of the best tourist spots in all over India, making it “a must
to visit” for the tourists. The superb decorations of the Vidyasagar Setu have
made it the most epic Setu of the country. I think it’s an amazing experience
for the tourists to sit near the banks of the river Ganges and observe the Setu
carefully. I can say it with a guarantee that it would give them the most peaceful
experience ever. The scenic view of the Vidyasagar Setu blended with the
serenity of the Ganges gives the visitors the most awaited inner peace. One
shall forget all his sorrows and miseries of life while sitting there for
hours. Apart from cultural heritage, Kolkata is also famous for its religious
heritage. It's a pilgrimage center for various pilgrims as well. Thousands of
pilgrims visit Kolkata every year for its famous religious destinations which
bind people together from different parts of the world. The Dakshineshwar
Temple, the Belur Math, the Kalighat and the Tarapith are some of the most
famous religious centers where most of the pilgrims visit every year.
